wow... I was about to bid on a koralia 2 on ebay. Good thing I looked it up here before I did. I was wondering why all the sponsors were "sold out" or "not currently in stock"

Anyone know if the problem is getting fixed? These things still look like a really good deal, if they'd ever return to the market.

Im pretty sure they have corrected the problem. Seems they changed the flow dispersion to make the stream wider. If the larger retailers have them in stock now they will be the new ones as the old ones were unavailable for a few weeks

well, finsdepot.com, drsfostersmith.com, and marinedepot.com all still have the 2 and 3 "on backorder." I guess I was just wondering if anyone had heard anything new. There are still a lot being sold on e-bay, but I don't want to get one that may have been part of the recall.

I didn't return mine. Cleaned the #2's impellor once and now the basket won't stay on it! Don't know if it is broken or if I'm just not doing it right. I've put it back on several times, checked it to make sure it was secure, then next time I looked in the tank it was off again.

Send it back under the recall. They will likely send you back a new one.

The new molds for the #2 & #3 pumps should be back in stock around the 9th. I have been keeping track so that I can return my other #2 pumps.
