Re: Snelly's 90g Reef-O-Rama

Well, so me and the girlfriend are moving in together, so this means moving the tank
have started the planning already and am going to use this adventure as an excuse to buy more LR as well.
I have 5 20 gallon tubs ready to go and a cart to wheel them on, thankfully im only moving upstairs and there is an elevator, but still nervous.
Also, i will be moving my refugium to the first reservior of my sump/fuge and moving the skimmer to the other end near the return, so a little work but i think this will help with some of the floaties i have. wish me luck!!!

Re: Snelly's 90g Reef-O-Rama

woohoo, new avatar
move starts tomorrow, i will update everyone, and i got 50lbs of live rock coming on monday, so all the rocks in those other pics will be re-aquascaped to fit in about half of the tank,
the one good part about moving is making some things better

Re: Snelly's 90g Reef-O-Rama

WOW my back is sore today, but thenkfully the move went very very smooth.
I was able to add the 50 lbs of LR to the tank as well and re-aquascape, and i think it helped my clowns get closer as well, i put them with their anemone in a bucket by themselves and they were huddled together the whole time. I will take some pics tonight and post them tomorrow!!!!

Re: Snelly's 90g Reef-O-Rama

Well, i got back from going out of town for the weekend, my girlfriend and I went to visit her father who just got out of the hospital from having a seizure.
To my surprise only my actinic lights were on at 9pm??? odd, so i looked at the timers and they read 24, instead of 21. So we didnt just have a long power outage, we had a 20 hour power outage. Needless to say I had some losses. They were both laying on the bottom, no flow for 20 hours really takes its toll. I already purchased a battery backup today which will kick on next time and power goes out, and i will have a powerhead and a heater plugged into it
Please help me say goodbye to two great fish.

Rueben, he was so full of life and would scurry over to the glass anytime someone would come close:
and Flame Angel who is pictured on page 4 of this thread, its not letting my copy it and i dont have time today at work. Please though dont let this happen to you and grab a battery or gas generator/backup
