| Elegance coral | Re: biowheel i wouldnt even rinse it. a little salt is actually recommended for most freshwater setups. i doubt much of the bacteria in the wheel will survive though.

| Reef Shark ![]() | Re: biowheel I misunderstood your original question. I thought you wanted to use the entire filter... Yes, you CAN use the bio-wheel from your salt tank on your freshwater tank, but you really won't gain anything by it...
