Oceanic Tank Question

I'm looking at a used Oceanic Reef Ready tank w/sump. The sump is 30g, but the guy says the tank is 65g. Has anyone ever heard of a 65g Oceanic tank?

I did ask for the dimensions to try and figure it out - he said it's about 4' long - 2' deep - 2.5' tall. Obviously, that's not the case since a 120g is 4' long - 2' deep - 2' tall. So, I'm thinking it's 36" long - 18" deep - 2' tall.

It has a single overflow (not in the corner) but on the left side.

Oceanic makes a 70 gallon 3ft tank and a 58 gallon tank but not a 65
AGA makes a 65 gallon 3 ft tank ...

Re: Oceanic Tank Question

The AGA has an overflow? He says it retails for $290 and the corner braces are square whereas Oceanic tends to taper their rim pieces. That said, I think you are right it's the AGA. Which would mean it has to be 36x18x23.

Re: Oceanic Tank Question

LOL... I agree that it is probably the AGA. If it's oak colored, you be able to tell for sure when you see the trim...
