Question Lighting requirements for mushrooms

I want to add a few muchrooms to my tank its a seahorse only tank with LR cleaner shrimp, 2 peppermint shrimp, what would be the minimum lighting for just mushrooms is there prefrence to the lighting needs of differnt species and if so does anyone know wich ones reguire less Watts

You can have shrooms successfully in very little light. What do you have?

They would do fine, shrooms dont actually love light, just keep them higher in the tank with flourcents...

on what sized tank? I have a "bumper crop" of shrooms growing in a 3 gal pico with 9w of lights. So I know they will do well with 3w/gal.

Put them towards the top and they should be fine. They are happier under medium light, but can do well in low light.

I have halides on my tank and I lost one purple discoma shroom under a rock about 3 weeks ago, anyhow I just fished it out and its still looking great! 3 weeks with zero direct light!

My shrooms do great where ever I put them althought my orange/red shrooms seem to like the light more than the others
