| Manta Ray | Re: Aquapod lights ok? IME, I would (and have) upgrade to the MH's for an anemone. The PC's and LED's were not enough light for my LTA... Also, given the chance to do it over, I would not have put an anemone in my 29 gal bio cube. Mine has grown very quickly since I added it september. I will be upgrading to a 90 gal tank over the next week, or so because of that. Hope this helps!

| Manta Ray | Re: Aquapod lights ok? I just don't think PC's will do it. My clowns played with my open brain for awhile before the nem. I have heard several people who have them hosting in frogspawn. I think the frogspawn would do well in your aquapod, as long as your water chemistry stays good.

| Manta Ray | Re: Aquapod lights ok? I wouldn't with the nem... not saying that you couldn't. An anemone can be a real challenge in a small tank too because they require a more stable system than you can't easily provide in a small tank. My bio cube is not that much bigger than your pod. My anemone is now about the size of a frisbie when it's really showing off. I purchased the sunpod MH because the nem did not seem very happy, even after I battled (almost non-stop) with water quality issues. I think you could keep your stock lighting and sucessfully keep a really nice piece of frogspawn, or something along those lines in your aquapod. Maybe someone else will offer some suggestions...

| Sunshine Reefer ![]() | Re: Aquapod lights ok? My clown hosts in my scrolling hammer. I have also heard of them hosting in mushrooms. I agree w/Lisa. The light on the aquapod is just not enough for an anemone unless you upgrade to MH. They also need very stable water parameters which is very difficult to accomplish in a small tank.
