| Midas Blenny | Help With Water Reverse Siphone i have an aga rr 120 gal with dual megaflow tank. when i shut off the power water keeps reverse siphoning back into my sump eventually filling it up and overflowing, i read somewhere that drilling holes in the return would stop the siphone by releasing air into the return. can anybody pls show me where to drill these hole (pls post pics bc if i drill in the wrong place is not fixable) or is there anything else i can do besides drilling holes. thx in advance |

| Golden Moray | Re: Help With Water Reverse Siphone ![]() The holes are the best way... mine are drilled just below the water line. 1/8" hole. Check valves are notorious for failing. |

| They misunderestimated me ![]() | Re: Help With Water Reverse Siphone Out of curiosity what size sump do you have? Cioutlaw is correct about the AGA plumbing have holes in the elbows. This should prevent siphoning through the return plumbing. However you usually still need enough room in your sump to hold at least 5-10 gallons of water to make up for water in the plumbing, above the slots in the overflow etc...
