Totally agree with you on all counts, my point was that you don't need MH for anemones....but your right MH's will give you better flexability...I have done three up grades in lights on one of my tanks, when I should have just gone all out the first time....I sure would have saved a bunch of $$$$$

when first getting the stuff for this tank i spent $40 on a HOB filter and another $40 on the hood and flourescent lighting. i dont need the filter, and the lighting may be inadequate anyways. it sucks spending money and finding out you coulda saved it.

not to mention the money i spent on materials in my failed attempts at a DIY overflow lol
