Power Cord for Iwaki MD55RLT?

Can I get a power cord from the local hardware store or do I need to order a specific power cord for an Iwaki MD 55 RLT??

yes u can pick one up... plus you might need a connector for the pump too... SJ Cord is the name of the wire... 14/3 should be plenty...

Mine is really quiet, I have to get my ear with in 5 to 6" to hear it running.

I was wondering because I'm thinking of changing out one of my return pumps for a better turn over. I have an amp master 3000 on the closed loop and its dead quiet. So I'm spoiled now.

Home Depot or Lowes should carry a cord with the plug molded onto the end of it in the appliance parts section. That's only about 180 or so watts, (1.6a @ 115v) so any size will suffice, but I wouldn't get anything smaller than 14-3 wire just for added safety.

Well, all of the other plugs are black and since I label/tag all my plugs so I know at a glance which goes to what, having a yellow one for the return was very convenient.

....and the color yellow was pretty
