wtb a Camera

I was trying to get some pics to post but the family camera sucks, so I looked around to see what there was and god good cameras can get up there. so I got to thinking maybe someone here went from a decent camera to a godly one and has it sitting around the house and was willing to part with it for a decent price? even if you don't have one do you guys think you can help me out with some suggestions that won't go over 250ish,I might go over this if it is a REALLY good deal (prays for a cheap slr)

I really hate asking for help when there's post every where about it but after 4 hours of reading info thats way over my head I'm a little brain dead

ps I think this the right place as I am looking to buy something but if not it wouldn't hurt my feelings if you moved it

lol I was just recently in your position with wanting to spend $300 max and ended up spend $450 haha on a nice rebel xsi but i suggest definitely going with a digital slr and go with a nikon or canon they both take amazing pictures you might want to try looking on craigslist to try and find a good deal good luck!

Re: wtb a Camera

I am trying ebay... you find a nice little deal, bid 350 with 30ish minutes to go, someone else bids 450 (100 dollar jump, someone needs to learn to bid) then in the last 10 min it jumps like 200-300 more for just the body I might as well go buy a new one with the lens....sigh....

Re: wtb a Camera

I got my Canon Rebel with an 18-55mm and 75-300mm lens, 2 batteries, battery pack grip, and charger all for $340. Look around and don't rush, you will eventually find a great deal. Craigslist is you best bet, especially since you can haggle the price.
