Do you have the tools to drill a hole in the back of the overflow large enough to fit a 1" bulkhead?

I can get actual bulkhead & overflow measurements, but this is a sticking point right now.

Approximate measurements: depthxWxH = 4"x10"x8"

Thanks
Im a little confused on what you actually want. Are you looking for the actual overflow boxes that you can buy online that use U-tubes and siphons, because if not I dont know how you would make that work. About drilling it for a 1 inch bulkhead, I have everything that would be needed to do that, I have drilled tanks for 1 inch bulkheads before so thats not a problem. PM me exactly what you are looking for and we can talk about it, if you can draw up pics or if you have some from other places that would be even better haha.

Re: Looking for an overflow?

If people want stuff made, hurry up before its to late!!!!

I am having a turf scrubber made by Jeremy. Think it up and he might just be able to make it happen!

But time is wasting, take up on his offers because one day you might wish they were still around.

I will post pics as soon as I can on the new items..

oh wow, i could think of a few. Anything that requires a cylinder I dont think I can do, but most reactors can be made using boxes, so there are few instances where a cylinder is needed. lol

Re: Looking for an overflow?

Alright, I have a progress picture of the scrubber build and then something that I threw together really quickly. Now, please note that if you are looking at ordering the ATO it will look much better than that, this was a free-bee for someone thats doing me a favor and I just threw it together real quickly today, if you are actually paying it will look much cleaner than this, but I was going for function and not fashion.

Anyways, here is the scrubber about half done. The top part will be the "water box", and will consist of a water tight chamber fed by a 1/2" bulkhead from one of the sides, that water will run through the holes you see there onto a piece of lexan that holds screen on both sides, then will run right into a fuge. All I need to do is make the inside piece, remake the two ends for the water box, and then some sort of locking thing so the middle algae sheet stays in place. I wanted to be able to remove the whole center if need be so that you can clean it out whenever you wanted to.

I am also making a holder for it so that it rests right above the fuge, just waiting on the dimensions of the fuge for that one.

And here is the quick ATO setup, it hands right on the side of the sump and should be resistant to random bursts from splashing.

Let me know what everyone thinks

Re: Looking for an overflow?

Sorry for the lack of response, I thought I'd subscribed to this thread. I guess not...

I'm looking for something just like the one demoed in the video on Acrylic Overflow Aquarium

When I said 4 sides I meant all 4 sides plus a bottom. Basically a sturdy acrylic box with a hole in it, which instead of siliconing or gluing the overflow to the tank, I could just attach it to my bulkhead.

The main benefits being I can take it out of the tank to clean it (I have an acrylic tank that doesn't have a totally open tank, limiting the ability to get into a small overflow) and since my tank isn't 100% level I can slightly tinker with the angle of the overflow, without being tied to it permanently being crooked.

Hopefully that's a little more clear.

I'll measure and shoot you a PM tomorrow or this weekend.

Well, I actually got a hit back today on someone that wants me there within 2 weeks, so its a possibility but I highly doubt that one, I am assuming late July or early August I will have to shut down operations.
