absolutely. Are you wanting clear , colored , sandblasted or painted? How are you going to mount the seahorses exactly? Try to give me any exact parameters you'll need.

Sand blasted would be great as it would really make the seahorses stand out. Each one is about 1.5-2" in size and will be hung like Xmas ornaments using monofilament fishing line. I have about 6-8 of them for now, if I could find the darn box I put them in that would be great.

ok misread that you were making them not that you were purchasing them. When I get one made maybe I'll send you one to demo.
I'd like to see one of these. I LOVE your style and ability! My only "skill" is running my mouth

Keep me posted buddy!!

Live Rock Rubble will do the SAME thing as Bio-Balls and is NOT a suitable replacement for BIO-BALLS in a Reef System! It's ALL gotta go!!
Nitrate (NO3) reduction is directly proportional to percentage of Water Change.

Ask me about how to increase your REEF budget without going without FOOD!!

Re: Anyone need anything made out of pyrex?

Thanks bro! I'm anxious to see one in the making! I just can't seem to get my small mind around what it will look like.

Have you done any experimentation to see how the Reef Tank handles Pyrex items? I was wondering if corals and such would attach to it quicker.. if something like GSP would attach to it... could do some really cool stuff with it...

Re: Anyone need anything made out of pyrex?

Considering coraline will attach to smooth glass and anything will attach to coraline it shouldn't be a problem. I unfortunatly don't have the education how many 100's of times I am increasing surface area by the sandblasting but it should be an incredible substrate for invert attachment. Not to mention biological filtration. Since its basically the cleanest glass you make there should be no reason for any animal to have an inversion to it. But this is experimental so we'll see how it goes.
the nice thing about the bioballs is we can do it relatively hollow meaning very little water displacement since only the pourous surface of the rock is giving us benefits. The rest of it is just displacing water.Plus it should do very little to impede water flow. Like I said considering your status here I think you'll be a fair person to give it an honest assesment allthough it will probably take a few months before we can have some rock solid information. Once encrusted it should be a gold mine of a hiding place for small inverts and copepods and since Its all done freehand I can design the hole spaces to however I see fit. Like if you need a dome with bolt holes that would be no problem we could do solid pushes in the dome that would be in effect a closed cave.
I'll keep you in touch and show you the first prototypes and we can make adjustments.

Re: Anyone need anything made out of pyrex?

Careful... not bio-balls but "Reef Balls" and also note they are a trademark too.. you may want to "Create" a name for them... like Jay-balls... tanks-balls.... coral-balls.... Pyrex-balls....Pyr-balls.... glass-balls...(all of which are NOW the property of BigAl Inc but I can license one to you for a small fee I crack myself up so MUCH!!)

Re: Anyone need anything made out of pyrex?

Ok, found my box of glass seahorses.

I am thinking something in the 12-13 inch tall range with enough branches/room to hang about a dozen or so. Pm me with a price. I'll see if I can come up with a sketch of my idea.
