| Just Mike for short | Icecap 250wt pendant/dimmable electronic ballast I have an Icecap 250/400wt pendant in excellent shape with a Maxkor dimmable electronic ballast. It would be a perfect set-up over your reef. Set it on a timmer on low and a few hours turn the intensity up to simulate sunrise. This is a great light. The Icecap pendant will take 250wt and 400wt and is one of the best pendants made. Very durable and rust proof with a computer designed reflector to maximize light reflectivity. Also included is a 20k bulb. Plug the pendant into the ballast, the ballast into your outlet and you have light. Just $225 shipped. ![]() ![]()

| Just Mike for short | Re: Icecap 250wt pendant/dimmable electronic ballast This light is awesome. I think I am going to keep it but thanks for considering anyway. I have been using it setting it on low on a timer and when I get home turning it up and back down before it is due to go off and the corals are coloring up like I have never seen before. If you can locate a dimmable electronic ballast, I recommend doing so.

| Golden Moray | Re: Icecap 250wt pendant/dimmable electronic ballast Aw gee Mike, I was getting ready to offer you a gazillion dollars for it. No, seriously, I think you've made a wise choice to keep it. I may look into dimmable ballasts in the future but I'd need 4 of them and it might be an expensive upgrade for me.
