Wanting 200+ Tank

Greetings, if anyone has a 200 gal. or larger thank for sale, please give me a yell. I am looking for just a tank but would consider a full setup if I can afford it. If in a state close to MO would be great because I would probably just drive the truck to get it.

Anyway, if anyone has that size of tank and they want to give it up, give me a yell. You can contact me at davidday@yhti.net.

Thanks,

Dave

Re: Wanting 200+ Tank

Dave, you are aware that nothing that you have except your 55 gallon tank (for a sump) is going to work on a 200+ tank! The 55 is even a bit small for the sump. Also, to set it up right is going to run about as much as a good used car.

I'd really suggest looking for a good used set up from someone downsizing or getting out of the hobby. Are you thinking of a reef tank or a large FOWLR?

I'd recommend looking at either a 180 gallon 72"x24"x24" or a 240 gallon 96"x24"x24". These are standard sizes and will be both more available and easier to buy items for.

Thank you Doc, I appreciate your guidance more than you know.

I am aware that what I have will not work with a larger tank. I am looking at setting up a second one. I also know it will cost a good deal of money....but I love this stuff. If someone came across with a 150 that I liked....I am not opposed to that.....just wanting to keep larger/more fish than I have...I didn't realize how limited I was with at 55 gal.

Just looking at options, but thank you VERY much. I appreciate you guy.

Dave

Re: Wanting 200+ Tank

Who had the 180 forsale last week due to health problems? It was turn key & in Iowa I think.

I will have a 120G 48x24x24 forsale in the near future. Will include tank, stand & lighting. In Illinois, cioutlaws 120gal.
