i want a flourecent hood for the new 20,000k flourecent bulbs i bought for my anemone.

With a condy i would at least do a 65 or even a 96 watt Power Compact. Or even better yet a 150 watt Metal Halide. Anemones require high lighting and pristine water quality.

ok i have power compacts. they are natural spectrum daylight bulbs, u-shaped, and are 6500k, is that bright enough? the color temperature is cool white.

Metal halide or T-5 lighting is best for anemones. Here is a great on-line reefing magizine that will go along way to helping you resolve some quesitons. This link is about lighting. But I would recommend that you add Reef Keeping Magazine to your favorites because there is a wealth of information right at your finger tips.

T5 or MH is the way to go with an anemone. Also great lighting in general.

If you really want to go PC get as many watts as you possibly can.
