Digital Specific Gravity Meter/Salinity Meter

I have a few of these left over from our reef club group buy.

Works very well. Measurement is instant. When you remove it from the water it instantly returns to absolute 0. Doesn't jump around like a Ph Meter.

Specifics:
3 in 1
Thermometer 0~100 degrees F
Specific Gravity 1.000~1.032
Salinity 5ppt~40ppt
Automatic Temp. Compensation

Includes calibration fluid, an extra set of batteries, instructions, and a box to keep it in.

$60 shipped. $2.40 for insurance(recommended)
These sell for $100 plus shipping at M.....depot.

Are they pretty accurate? I would like one if so.

Yes, you have to calibrate it every now and then depending on use. Directions say twice a month. There is a calibration screw behind the battery cover. It should be rinsed and dried off after each use.

I received mine today.. very nice little gadget... It measured right on.... Temp 80 and salinity 1.026

Lighting = 6x250 watts MH, 2x96 watt PC ,and 2x140 watt VHO for a total watt of 1,972 watts . New addition on 4-14-07 of 100 gallon sump and 100 gallon refugium. I think I have lost my mind.
