| SCWD Setup Information I just ordered from Premium Aquatics an SCWD device. I am looking for pictures of setups that anyone might have as well as hints, tips, tricks & etc. to help me as I go to put this together. I plan on putting it on my return from the sump back to the display tank and have it switch between two nozzles. Outside that, I don't know what pitfalls may be in my way. Any help I can get would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

| Elegance coral ![]() | SCWDs are a great item to have IMO what is the gph of the pump, should be between 50gph and 1400gph (recomended) FYI im not sure if you will have any problems with using this as a return or not so i will let those who have mor exp, with these answer that thought they are very simple to hook up though, just think of it as a 'T' and go from there (as far as the plumbing is concerned) here is a pic of one used in a closed loop, you could just adapt to your needs and here is where it came from http://www.sparklingfloorservice.com...losedloop.html hope this helps (if it doesnt let me know )TD |

| Thanks, TDevil. The pump is a Mag12 with a 5 foot lift back to the display which puts the gph at about 1000-1100. I guess what I should do is have a closed loop on the SCWD that is separate from my sump return...is that correct? Or, is it okay to combine my sump return with the SCWD.
