I have heard people using red moon lights. Is this true??

I have not heard of red being used. Doesn't seem to be a natural color for moonlight. The kelvin temperature would be quite low.

OBTW...Sorry about that New Orleans bowl. The Mean Green have been on a roll....

Troy I happen to like Mark Weiss lights. They are very expensive but in my opinion worth it because of their spectrum and their coverage.

Here is one cool shot similar to one I posted in the last few days.

Great Idea, Does anyone know where to find the rope lights out of season. The local Home Depot and Lowes told me they only carry them around the holiday.

you may have heard of red 'moonlights' because part of the reason for having moonlights is to observe nocturnal behaviour. the red spectrum either isnt visible, or doesnt bother nocturnal sealife, so even with red or blue lights on, they come out. this way there is enough light for you to see whos coming out at night, without them seeing you and running back, or being deterred by daylight.
