Doors Arrived

The cabinet doors arrived today, and here is a look at them. The small ones on the floor will be on the face of the canopy. Obviously, this is pre-stained. Just thought I'd give you a peek at them. Enjoy!

The tank is a 120 gal. The side cabinet will house the gravity fed refugium, goodies, and in the future - a calcium reactor on the bottom.

Nikki, Looking good, please keep the picture coming as it progresses.
Sounds like you have it all figured out. It is always a plus to have the future involved in the plans.

Another update

Well, here is an update. The doors are attached. There still is trim that needs to go up. Also, there is a piece that will go on the backside of one of the lower doors and will fill in the space - it will appear as a brace piece, but when the doors are open, I won't have anything in the middle in my way. Also, the crown needs to go up, and the door fronts on the face of the canopy. I'm not sure I want them up though, as I really like the grain of the canopy. I'll have to see how it looks, I guess. Well, here's the she-beast:

Here is a picture of the doors in their open postion. The little reefer in front is my 2 year old, and is the reason we will also have locks on all the doors with the key out of reach. The pulls on the doors will be a brushed nickel.

Enjoy:

i say this as my best advice to a beginner. do not,,,and i repeat,,,,,DO NOT look at my tank as an example....i have a well practised eye, decades of experience, and a trunkload of failures to allow me to force the issue and get away with things most cannot~
