MH in canopy, fan set up

Ok, got my 400W MH in today. Have not installed yet. Deciding how to set up cooling fans. Push-pull, exhaust only, etc? I kinda agree with a post I saw on here somewhere. Set up the fans for exhaust only. The fresh air will find its own way in thru all the gaps like the access door and the area on the back of thecanopy where I will try to seal off as best can. I have 2 4" fans at 35cfm, my canopy space is only about 5cf. Any recomendtions?

Re: MH in canopy, fan set up

you can have one fan in and one fan out but one fan wil fail due to moisture....if you have both fans blowing in then you should have no problems with premature failure

Re: MH in canopy, fan set up

Was wondering about that. The fan on my Nova T5 had rusted dead.

Re: MH in canopy, fan set up

I have 2 fans, one on each side of my canopy and I have them both blowing the hot air out of it. The back of my canopy is open (only egg crate) so cool air is drawn in from the back. It seems to work pretty well. I posted my configuration just to give another idea. I'll be following along to see if anyone has better luck with a different configuration.
