| Manta Ray | Re: Overflow hole size?? To cut the hole bigger in acrylic you could also try a router with a straight cutting bit. Draw the circle you want to cut and be VERY careful to trim close to the line and keep a firm grip on the router. I have done this many times. The hole won't be perfectly circular but the gasket makes up for a lot. Gluing another piece of acrylic over the hole then redrilling a larger hole also works. If you glue the piece well enough you could leave it in place and put the bulkhead through both pieces. I have also done this successfully.

| Watch this Ma! | Re: Overflow hole size?? I used hole saw drill bits. They work well too. I clamped a piece of wood to the other side of it to support that area and it helped to cut down on burrs on the other side. Just go nice and slow...

| Golden Moray | Re: Overflow hole size?? i know i'm really late on the pics but here they are also, i would like to drill holes into the back of the tank but the tank has a blue acrylic sheet siliconed or glued to the back glass. is there any special instruction to drilling through both at once, or would i have to remove the acrylic before drilling the glass?

| Watch this Ma! | Re: Overflow hole size?? I can't think of a reason you can't just drill through both. How did you drill your tank? What did you use?
