| Tunicate  |  need help on plans for a 20gal sump/refugium i want to start a tall 20 gal reef tank with a long 20 gal sump/refugium but i don't no what size hole i should drill in the 20 tall nd what size of pump i should put in the 20 long...sorry this is my first time with reef stuff but i want to get it right before trying any thing thanx muchly |

| Harlequin Tuskfish | Re: need help on plans for a 20gal sump/refugium First I have to ask if this sump is going to be under your display tank. Bc a 20L is 30" and a 20H is 24" I believe. The hole size will depend on what kind of flow rate you want. What type of corals do you plan on keeping?

| Tunicate | Re: need help on plans for a 20gal sump/refugium the 20 L would be under the 20 T i want to do hard corals and button polyps and stuff like i would like mid to high flow rate i plan on building a 175 watt metal halide set up unless i need more light i'm still looking on how to do that as well |
