Re: t5 lighing ?

Or you could support one of our sponsors and buy basically the same ballast (Fulham Workhorse Ballast) that is well tried and proven in reliablility, and is 4 bucks cheaper!

then you can also get your endcaps and reflectors and bulbs all at the same place. You may also want to take a look at the retro kits while you are their.

Re: t5 lighing ?

What does everyone think of these units?

48" 216W (4-54 watt) Quad T6 Fluorescent Light Fixture (W/B) - 506041

Just not sure the difference in T6 vs T5 other than slightly larger OD.

Re: t5 lighing ?

In a t6 fixture you can burn t5's also i believe. The purpose for them coming out with a t6 fixture was the option to swap out many different bulbs. I remember reading something about this.
Though i could be completly wrong here also

It says it will run four 54W bulbs, has this been proven by anyone? That is a great price for a ballast to do that.
