| Tunicate  | Thanks for the kind words. I've pretty please with the way it came out, the next one should be even better. It's not the first I ever made, in fact it is the 4th. The first was a small single chambered , the second a larger single chambered (made from parts that Openbrain gave me) the third was a medium dual chamber, and this you can see is a large dual chamber. The tubes are 6" dia by 14" tall. It is the first one of this design. I wanted to minimize the external plumbing so I've mounted the Mag pump directly underneath the first chamber, Also use mostly John Guest (sp?) fittings instead of barb connectors. Total cost of build (excluding pump) was about 25 dollars. Like I said I got soem acrylic really cheap. |

Purple tang, yellow tang, pacific blue tang, 2 green chromis, 1 Sand sifting star, snails, hermit crabs, 2 mated perculas, pulsing Xenia, Anenome, mushrooms, ricordia, zoanthids, kenya tree 1 1/2" tall, misc other hitchhiker stuff. DIY is my dream... ...well OK the only way I can afford this Addiction!! Just as the light goes on in my head... ... I break the bulb!! |
