| Torch coral | So i finally ventured off and built one! now i need to clean it up some..lol, touch ups.. and sand some areas down.. But i got the lights in .. and looking for advice.. right now the finally lighting in the tank is: 2x 15 watt 18 inch Aqua-sun bulbs and a single 50/50 coralife Compact mini centered in the tank... I'm really thinking of adding a couple more of them.. and running 2 x 15 watt Actinic instead of the Aqua-suns.. ***** QUESTION**** How does the Coralife CP Mini ( 20 watts) compare to running 2 15 watt standard Fluorescents? As I'm assuming.. running the 2 x 15 watt tubes and CP 20watt Mini is better than 4 tubes? I mean with the tubes its 10 watts more? but does the Compact Fluorescent not give off more intensity than the standard tubes? Alright here are the Pictures! here is what it use to look like .. ![]() |
