VHO's just atinics

I have four 48 inch VHO's 2 atinics and two white. How can I make just my atinics come on?

It depends on your fixture. Many fixtures have multiple cords so you can plug them into different timers or the 2nd setting on a double timer.
If you only have one cord, I don't know if you can do it. Perhaps, but I don't know how.

i have that problem..both of my ballists are wired together to form one power cord..i cant turn one on or the other..kinda stinks.

get a separate ballast for the actinics... or ditch the daylight VHOs and get a MH, then have the actinics go by themselves!

Thanks for all the info. I was thinking about cutting the individual wires of my two white lights and putting an on/off switch and reconnecting the wires. But I don't how my ballasts will react to this. I don't want to blow up my ballast. Does anyone think this will work.

it depends on how the lamps are wired. if you have 2 sets of wires going to each lamp from the ballast, sure, but if they're daisy-chained, or wired in series, if you turn one set off, they'll all go off. be careful, anyways, that's some potent voltage.
