| Reef Lobster | best sump solution ok guys, i'm still slowly working on getting my 20 gallon set up. i have some sump issues. i'm running an eheim 1232 return pump, and an asm mini as the skimmer. i've also designated a 15 gallon for my sump... that's the problem. the asm mini recommends being run in 6"-8" of water. i compromised and did 7". my problem is, once i have the skimmer in there, and the baffles the return area is very small. that means topping off is going to be required constantly, and i'm not a fan of ATO systems. i'm looking at getting a custom acrylic sump made, but i'd really like to just stick with my current setup... what would you guys recommend? i guess i could get a hob skimmer and put it on the side of the sump, and just get ne baffles. any ideas?
