Source for Acrylic tube

I've been wanting to make my own air driven skimmer. I can't seen to find a supplier of Acrylic that will allow me to buy acrylic tube in lenghts less than 6 feet long. I called usplastics and they to would only sell 6ft minimum pieces. If I do that, I'll have so much left over. Some pieces, I only need 1ft. Can anyone give me some names of acrylic suppliers?

You may find some local suppliers with scrap otherwise it's difficult to get anything less than 6'. Maybe you can do a group buy and divide a 6' piece with some local members.

Plastics shops, should be the answer, they can order some if they don't have it, and usually you wouldn't have to buy a miniumun length. I just recently ordered 20" of 6" extruded acrylic tube for my Ca reactor for around 30 bucks.

www.customaquatics.com I bought 24" of 4.5" cast acrylic tubing for about $20. I used it for a Nielsen Reactor. Works great!

Opps! My bad. I purchased mine from aquatic eco-systems. I have had good luck ordering stuff from custom aquatics, just not the clear acrylic tubing.....
