By Suzanne Wentley staff writer June 3, 2004 "Floating in a boat five miles east of the St. Lucie Inlet, Sam Dollins leaned over a machine reminiscent of a swimming pool pump and filter. As divers worked beneath him, Dollins watched ocean water flow into the machine from a flexible blue plastic pipe, run through the filter and spill onto the deck. Then he saw what he was waiting for. "There's the brachypus. There it is," he said, watching small bits of green algae fall out of the pipe and fill a white mesh collection bag.
