I am surprised that it is only 7 million. With all the research and devlopment they seemingly would need for their additives, I would think that in and of itself would cost a good chunk of change. Well, I just hope the quality remains as I have always liked kent products...

Take er easy

Interesting that the mother company owns both All Glass Aquariums and Oceanic.

Central pet is taking over and kicking Royal's but in the process.
I just hope they don't cut Royal out of the distribution of their products.
We will need to jump through hoops to set up an account with Central pet. Ever since they started taking over companies a few years back they have put many new requirements on the LFS's before distributing to them. But then again what choice do we have

Sharks,
We use Central, and hate them. Our orders have to be faxed in almost 5 days in advance. We've slowly been ordering less and less from them, but it's the best place to get a good deal on aquariums. We used to do a lot of buisness with Fish Dimensions in Richmond, but the went out of buisness or are slowly going out of buisness....
It's unfortunate, if you have a shop that sells a lot of supplies and such, you almost have to get with Central. We've also been getting good deals with Summit. And at least with them, if I place my order by 2 oclock on Tuesday I get my stuff in on Weds.
I'm sure it helps we are only three hours away from them.
Mike
