| The Wand Geek was here. ;) ![]() | Re: gluing frags Use a toothbrush to clean the area on the rock before glueing. Sometimes superglue GEL works but you might need two part epoxy if the frag is large. Your LFS should have it in stock.

| Reef Lobster | Re: gluing frags Be careful with the 2 part apoxy as it creates heat. It works good for attaching a frag rock to a rock but it can kill a coral if it contacts it directly while drying. Superglue gellll.....just have to be quick! ![]()

| Golden Moray | Re: gluing frags super glue gel.. I go through a bottle every 2 weeks. Buy several you'll need it. I use the two part epoxy every now and then for connecting rocks thats it. Be forewarned it smells horrible!

| Tunicate | Re: gluing frags LOL At "smells horrible!" Have you taken a good whiff at your Xenia or mushrooms while out of the water!!!??? J/K. Super Glue gel works great. It actually creates a skim around it's surface the moment it comes in contact with the water. Then when you press it into it's "nook or cranny," the skim breaks and the glue gel does a great job at bonding. As was mentioned, if it's a large colony, 2 part epoxy may be needed. |

It's ALL gotta go!! Nitrate (NO3) reduction is directly proportional to percentage of Water Change. Allen's home-made formula...currentNO3-((%WC*.01)currentNO3)=finalNO3 (thanks Luukosian) This means if you change 50% of your total water volume (That's EVERYTHING) you'll get a net reduction of (NO3) somewhere around 50%.
