| Dancing Mandarins | Blasto creates babies! I have a beautiful super red blasto that is producing its own babies. I am amazed how it is doing it. It forms a bubble, then the bubble grows and babies form on it, then it extends into a long extentions with babies all around. I am waiting for the extension to 'drop' off; however, I was thinking about putting a rock under it. Here are some pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

It's ALL gotta go!! Nitrate (NO3) reduction is directly proportional to percentage of Water Change. | Do I look as lost as I am ![]() | Re: Blasto creates babies! Not me... I don't have any blastos yet.... but that's similar to how a Ric/Yuma will "drop" some flesh which then becomes babies. I have some "Nuclear Green" paly's on a "Reef Ball" that drop flesh and in a month there are some babies.. only problem is they ALL drop INSIDE the Reef Ball where they can't be seen....

| Dancing Mandarins | Re: Blasto creates babies! Wow! I had a mother (dead) fungid that produced about 60 babies over the course of a year. They buggers are everywhere!

| NaClH2O Addicted ![]() | Re: Blasto creates babies! I have a big red B. wellsi similar to yours - had it a couple weeks and it has a young one growing underneath on one side now, but no long extension of young ones like you have. That's pretty awesome!
