| Bryozoan | Duncan coral Hi, I was wondering if someone cuts off a Duncan head, will another one grow in it's place? I got a Duncan frag today, with two heads, and three healed places, that look like they are trying to make new heads! Just wondering! ![]() |

| Beautiful Katamari | Re: Duncan coral I did just get a Duncan frag this past weekend and it has 2 heads and there is a place where it looks like a third head or a branch was at that had been cut. The area that looked mostly like dead skeleton had a few tentacles on one part (1/4) of the edge. Looking at it now after just 4 days I can see where there are more tentacles. Probably 2/3 of the area now has some tentacles so I think I will soon have 3 full heads. Having done some research they are a pretty hardy coral and can grow new head relatively quickly.
