fun with fragging

so i was bored this morning and started cuttin a peice of ricordia here are the results

and then in the tank

the peice on the left that i wasn't sure if i got any of the mouth has already fallin off and i have absolutly no idea where it went heh:smck:

all in all it turned out pretty good and then i saw a couple loose polyps so of course with the glue out already

yeup the superglue gel didn't hold cuz i bearly had any left so last night i ended up having to rubberband them but ima gonna get some gel on my way home from work today

I usually use the veil method. I also have found the super glue doesnt work that great with the slimy-er corals.

its hard to get a "veil" over top of them too...I had an issue that the cut ric kept moving to underneath the netting...I had no luck in fragging them, they end up floating away, I just let mine divide now, they are splitting on about a montly-2 monthly basis.

heh yeah thats too slow for me ima sorta impatient i was gonna wait for the ric's to split before i fraged them but i dunno i just saw the blade and saw the ric and said awww screw it

i have been fragging shrooms for sometime now. I found the easiest and most effective way to get them to stick to a rock is get some crushed coral place it in a smal plastic dish in your tank drop your frag pieces in and wait til the foot grabs a hold of a piece of the crushed coral then glue the frag by putting super glue gel on the crushed coral. Works great for me. I feel that it is the only way to go.
