Why would you frag your wife? I found ONE to be enough to maintain on her own.....

And by the way, cool videos, my kids are interested! And I'm excited because one of those thats interested is a teen... "See? There IS more to life than boys!"

Re: For those who dont know how to frag...

I've seen some posts here about corals out of water while fragging, the only one that comes to mind, because I frag mine, are the polyps, ten minutes at a time was what seemed to be the average, although someone left a rock of zoas on the edge of tank overnight and managed to have them recover. I also have a container of tank water and give them a dip while I'm fragging, then I toss the water, especially with palys because of the toxins they can release. Have fun!

Re: For those who dont know how to frag...

Where are your gloves?

A lot of corals are toxic!! Slip just once with that razor knife and you've got toxins in your blood stream.

Are you wearing safety goggles? I've had polyps and zoas squirt over a foot when cut up. Would really suck to get squirted in the eyeball. Expensive trip to the ER and possibly loose an eye.

It's a nice contribution to the site and I know your heart is in the right place. Educating other reefers is one of the best ways to give back to the hobby.

But for god sakes man!! get some protective gear on!!
