It's difficult to tell from the photo but have a Lobophyllia that is developing a second seperate mouth within the skeleton, don't know if sometime down the line it'll completely seperate or not but budding would be a good guess IMHO.

DOn't know if your familiar with this article or not but it's real good and dedicated to donuts...lol

Thanks Robert, that was interesting and Ive bookmarked it, it looks like a little pebble coming threw the flesh, corals happy and open and extends for feeding so guess I just leave it be?

I give it a squirt of mysis,chopped oyster,cyclopese every other day, dosent look affected by this growth so Im praying its not some burrowing creature
