| Fire Coral | Alvepora propagation Is there any safe way to frag this coral without cutting it's base? I only want a few branching polyps, and I am too impatient to wait for it to reproduce on its own. I haven't found much on it on the Inet and very little on its cousin Goniopora, other than cutting it at its base. |

| Fire Coral | Re: Alvepora propagation Great link, filled with good info. It's a little scary though. I would hate to mess up and lose my colony, it is one of my favorite corals and it is also very difficult to find in this area for some reason. I am going to have to think about it before I cut into it. |
