The Advanced aquariest article ( http://www.advancedaquarist.com/issu...002/invert.htm ) there says,

" The aquarist who purchases one is in for a rather pleasant surprise over the weeks to come. Echinophyllia colors up remarkably in the home aquarium, almost invariably and without exception. Drab grays and solid browns become fluorescent hot pinks, reds, oranges, greens or blues."

Is that really true? They almost always colour uo more in our aquariums? There is a bluish grey, and a green one I've been eyeing at my LFS.

Here are few more:

Echino Turquoise w/ Pink Eyes
Echino Pink
Oxypora Lacera LE (Dessert Plate)

The Dessert Plate pic is fuzzy...It does show the blue pigments as mentioned by Steve in his LE notes...It needs to be hidden away from light in order to get the blue color...

I will get you pics of few more species manana...

hey Mike I have the other one if you need a frag. He had two of those babies in his tank. I went down there and bought one whole one instead of a frag of it. Here is a pic...
