| Scopas Tang | Who has a sun coral Who owns a sun coral and what are your tricks of the trade? I have one with about 15 polyps its small and i got it a week ago. My trick is to squirtsome mysis shrimp mixed with phyto pure in the tank every 10 minutes for half an hour when only my blue and white LEDs are on. its going well so far. So how about you?

| Bryozoan | Re: Who has a sun coral I wait 1/2 hour after MH go out then target feed then mysis with a turkey baster after feeding the fish so that the fish don't steal food right out of it's mouth. I feed it every second day at approx the same time. Now it starts to open about an hour before feeding. ![]() It's about 1/2 again the size of that pic. | Angel Girl's Daddy | Re: Who has a sun coral Here re mine. I don't direct feed mine, they rely on the flow bringing them food. I also see them eat pods at night. There over a year in my tank now.

| Torch coral | Re: Who has a sun coral I'll feed the fish first, that usually causes mine to open up. Once opened, I spot feed with frozen brine & plankton.
