It's ALL gotta go!! Nitrate (NO3) reduction is directly proportional to percentage of Water Change. Allen's home-made formula...currentNO3-((%WC*.01)currentNO3)=finalNO3 (thanks Luukosian) This means if you change 50% of your total water volume (That's EVERYTHING) you'll get a net reduction of (NO3) somewhere around 50%. Ask me about how to increase your REEF budget without going without FOOD!! | Star Polyps | Re: Ricordia eye candy....... Thanks! Come on flricordia, can't I show off too? ;p It actually takes them awhile to split on their own if you don't force split them. They do well under vho's and strong pc's also. They really tend to prefer med lighting when kept under MH, HQI, etc. If kept under high light the polyps stay pretty small and contracted. I find mine really swell up under med lighting. Med under mh would probably be high light for someone with pc's. |
