Question Center of attention

I have a few coral frags placed all over my tank and all seem to be doing fine under my lighting. I have 4-5 different kinds of Zoas, frogspawn, hammer coral, galaxia, mushrooms, ricordia, green star polyps, pink star polyps, 2 kinds of Xenia, clove polyps, toadstool and a large colt Coral. All of my coral is green, pink and purple. I would like to add something that is really amazing to be the center of attention but would be fine with what I already have in my tank. I have the room. I also want something really bright like yellow or orange or maybe red to contrast with everything. Any ideas?

Kelly

this is a real show piece, this tubinaria is wafered the other one we bought was cusped. They need 100% nil nitrate or algae wil spread and then over a number of weeks you will watch it slowly sufficate.

or sun corals, they need feeding via syringe of brine and koral fluid. But they can be trained to open during the day over a two week period, and will stay that way therefore after. They require filtration just like pergodas see the thing is that if they gain algae in a polyp that is dead its going to grow unlesss you cut it,This photo is two different versions red and yellow together, the bigger it is the easier it is to feed.they tend to be the most photographed corals issued and seem to be fairly cheap and available around here ayway.Did you have any other qustions in mind, pink is good too(mushies) replacing substrate to be as bright as posssible will renew any colour, even the ones you forgot were there and ones that are developing.

Re: Center of attention

Awesome pics das. LOVE those sun corals. That's what I'm going to try once I get a larger tank (out of room here).

Kelly have you looked into some shrooms? They come in SO many different and cool colors and patterns. I lucked up and got a bright purple/green stripped one that was attached to a frag I bought of zoas. It was a FREEBIE and easily a very show worthy critter. I got the frag and shroom for $14.95... almost seemed like I was robbing the shop!! Shrooms are so easy to grow and propogate and they really do have a LOT of character. One day they will be all spread out and HUGE and the next they are most like a stalk... then next thing you know they are more of a spitwad... next day all spread out and proud again!!

Whatever you get we need PICS!!

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Re: Center of attention

I wish I did not live in the sticks. I have to order most of my stuff online or travel to the city where it is all overpriced. There are no local clubs here to trade with so it is hard to find good deals. It is hard to tell how something is going to look in the tank by the picture. I guess that is how I ended up with so many things so close to the same color. ;/
