Live Rock Rubble will do the SAME thing as Bio-Balls and is NOT a suitable replacement for BIO-BALLS in a Reef System! It's ALL gotta go!!

Nitrate (NO3) reduction is directly proportional to percentage of Water Change.
Allen's home-made formula...currentNO3-((%WC*.01)currentNO3)=finalNO3 (thanks Luukosian)
This means if you change 50% of your total water volume (That's EVERYTHING) you'll get a net reduction of (NO3) somewhere around 50%.

Ask me about how to increase your REEF budget without going without FOOD!!

Oh man, I thought it was 7 days already! If the price is right I am going to go for it. It kills me to see all the waste water going down the drive way.

I'm with ya Frank. I'm working to "Certify" home and businesses as GREEN and it's hard to do that knowing how much WASTE WATER I'm producing at home.

Now that would be the one thing that could convince me to replace my current unit.

Re: Zero Waste 75gpd Ro/di Units!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just setup my RO unit this week and I thought something was wrong. 2 gallons waste for every gallon didn't seem right. I at least feel better know that it is the norm, but I am certainly interested in one of these.

2 gallons to 1 is good I believe. I thin I am at 4 to 1.
