Sand size for bluespots

Is it ok to use sugarsize sand for a dsb with bluespots?

It is better to have a varied size. The suger sand alone is really hard to stabilize. You don't have to add a varied size to all of your tank, just add some additional sizes in around the bluespot along with some rubble.
