My LFS has 10 Bluespots for Sale

Hey All, I just received an e-mail today from my lfs on their weekly livestock. They have worked out a special deal on Bluespots for $90 each! Last year, my bluespot was $149! If you're interested, pm me for more info, and they do have shipping available with an arrive alive guarantee!

Our lfs just listed them for $69! And, they have a half dozen! I'm so tempted to get another pair instead of switching my current ones over.

My LFS has 3 for $69.99
He told me these fish are no longer rare and their price should drop even lower

I wonder why they are no longer rare.
Somehow I doubt the wild population has increased.
Have they developed a more successful method of catching them or hopefully a better method of transporting them.
I would love it if the increase was an increase in the numbers surviving import.

They have had restrictions on permits and where they can be collected. The old collection sites were closed. I think it was more politics related than availability.

Well I just hope they are not decimating the wild population since we cannot yet breed them in captivity.
Of course you are about to change that Lorraine.

$69 dollars??? WOW!! That is a deal! But as I posted above, I paid almost $150 for Digger!

Lorraine, I wouldn't change your pair out! No sense in disrupting Mr. and Misses BJ!

The thing that concerns me about all of this availability is over-collecting them, since we know captive breeding is rare!

They are not rare in the wild but it is rare to see one one last in captivity.
