MY BLUESPOTS JUST WON A 65g TANK AND CUSTOM STAND/HOOD!

BJ and the Misses are getting their own place!

WON THIS SETUP IN A RAFFLE! This tank is sweet! I promise pictures, but it is 1:00 in the morning. The stand is in my car, the rest had to be dropped off by someone else and is in the garage. It is beautiful!

So, if you were me, how would you set this baby up!

Congratulations! It might be fun to set it up as a BS specific biotope...? It's early though and my brain is fuzzy, so I'm having trouble focusing. What would YOU like to do?

I'm not sure how/where I want to set this up. I keep coming up with new ideas all the time.

1) Independent system or connect it to the reef tank?
2) How deep of a sand bed?
3) How much other live rock/rubble?
4) Should I also include any other roommates (like a picasso pair and anem)?
5) Should I sump it or keep r simple?
6) Lighting, maybe t5's?

I will be setting this up when I have a few weeks off during the holidays. I am poor, so any additional purchasing will be extremely limited. Oh, and if the $1600 vet bill wasn't enough last week, something is wrong with my other dog. As soon as I can put my finger on what it is, he has a nice vet bill for me too. Enough whining. I did after all get a sweet new tank for $40!

This is sooo cool.
Such an expensive freebie. Kind of like when I won the RO/DI and it cost a fortune to get the containers etc to set it up. LOL
I think I would set it up as tank for blues and something that swims higher in the tank only. Clowns would be good but I wouldn't want to put a nem in for some reason. Maybe because of the digging of the blues and the wandering of the nems.
This could be so much fun.

Congrats on the win. I would like a species tank. But that is just me. Choose what you like best and run with it.

Mr. and Mrs. will be very happy.

If I may make a suggestion or two... keep it separate from teh reef maybe? Easier to treat the BSs separately, if someething happens in one tank it's not a total catastrophe across the board. I'm all for fuges. I think they're really beneficial. And AFA roomies, how about letting the BSs settle and see how you feel after a while?

This setup is tall!

My husband isn't thrilled (actually very non-thrilled) about 3 tanks. The 65's going up, not sure what's coming down.
