Bluespot habitat!

Ok, I stole this idea from another site, but it seemed so cool and I had just the stuff to duplicate it. I'm hoping my bluespot will take to it, since I have fine sand and all he has is rock crevices. The PVC will be burried in the sand with only the barnacles showing. I drilled an opening in the barnacle so he can get thru - complete with escape hatch. Now I just have to find room to bury it.

All my rock was set on eggcrate first, then water, then sand. It should be stable despite the digging.

Re: Bluespot habitat!

Looks like a neat idea! I would make sure to flush it well during each waterchange to prevent detrius build-up leading to nitrate problems

Re: Bluespot habitat!

Cool idea, I do think RyanG's concern may be valid in this case though.
