All BSJF Lovers' Check Out this Video

I am also active on the Nano-Reef.com web-site as well as here on the Blue Spot Club. Today a N-R member posted a video of his, not 1, but 2 blue spots feeding in his tank! It is a really cool video watching them gulp down mysis. He has them in a 34 gallon Solana. He says they were in a 120 gallon display tank the store, where he works. They showed no aggression towards each other and they kept their burrows close together.

Here is a link to his thread:

And here is the link to his video:

YouTube - Bluespot Jawfish Feeding

And of course, I sent him a pm letting him know about our club!

Re: All BSJF Lovers' Check Out this Video

Nice vid.
He must have lucked out. I read on RC in an article that BSJF have on average 10' between burrows. But if they are a pair I guess that would make them more peaceful toward each other.

I just lost 45 min watching youtube vids of jawfish.
Some great, some down right scary.
New tanks, cyano jungles. The works.

Great fish.

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

That's the problem with RC, their information is incorrect! By all accounts, in natural colonies, they are found as close as 5' apart.

BTW, what are you doing at RC!

OR it could have something to do with the "herbage" wafting under my front door. Wowsers. Haven't had this since the rastafarians lived next door.
