Is he interested in food?
Is he flashing, trying to get the offending agent off his skin?

Google sux. can you try and get a close up from the front? It really reminds me of a fungus infection.

Thank you guys very much, and no problem on the last post Scott, it seems we were typing at the same time as you said.

Who knew the loss of a fish could be so sad. They are amazing fish with such personality it's easy to become attached to them.

RIP Bubbles

.

Although very sad I still wonder what the cause was.

I too was leaning toward a fungal infection if not bristle worms based on my research (googling). I can't help but think that a fungus wouldn't have been lethal so quickly though. I suppose I could certainly get a close-up from any angle I please now but that might be a bit morbid. (JK, trying to make light of the situation).

Not at all. Post away man. Maybe freeze it and mail it off to Scott for a better close up with his tools and skills would be a good idea.

I'm so sorry for your loss! Bubbles was such a beautiful fish.

My heart is broken for you, too, you had him with you such a short time.

Frankie, I don't think I'll take it that far, I've actually already put the little guy to rest. I was just curious.

Re: Emergency! Help save my BSJF PLEASE!

So sorry you lost Bubbles. I agree with the fact that losing the bluespot is the hardest...mine died a few weeks ago. It was very sad. I've kept his pic as my avatar, but have a new one arriving today. You'll have to try another one sometime.
