| Over Achiever | Re: Scotty's Spotty Thanks Jen! He is my best bud! ![]() Greg, they just started hanging out. When Spotty moved to another location the Watchman moved into Spotty's old digs. I was wondering if the Pistol shrimp drove Spotty out. 3 days later, Spotty was back. |

| Sunshine Reefer ![]() | Re: Scotty's Spotty Glad to see them getting along. I have both in my 90 but I don't think they even realize the other is there. I know you must have answed this before, but what are you feeding Spotty? Do you spot feed him or does he just eat with the tank?

| Over Achiever | Re: Scotty's Spotty Thanks Victor! ![]() Lynn, I feed a mix of frozen mysis and Plankton (look like mysis, but bigger) to the whole tank once per day. Every few days I will have a feeding session with Spotty where I turn all the pumps off and drop pieces of shrimp, scallop, squid or clams from the top, they slowly float down and he comes up to get them. I used to do this with the moon lights when the other fish were slumbering, but recently, I have been doing it with all the lights a blare. Sure the other fish get some, but Spotty knows the drill and is ready to get the food. It's one of my most favorite times to spend with my fish! ![]() |

Varga, they generally go where they feel the most comfortable. In fact they will move around from site to site. From my experience, they like to be where they can see everything, that includes what's outside the tank. | |
