Re: Lorraine's Bluespot Heaven

I know but it would be really cool. I can see it now Lorraine's Captive Raised Bluespot Jawfish. We will call it LBS (Lorraine's Blue Spots) For short. You will be the only supplier in the country of these eco-friendly alternatives to Wild Caught Jawfish. Then I will start Raising BSJF. Mine will breed, and I will start raising CRBSJF. Finally we will be major competitors in the BSJF Industry. We will then become partners in a very productive business. Everyone will know about OUR Bluespot Jawfish. People from around the worl will call and order OUR unique strain of these awesome fish. Yes....I can see it now. Dentoid will then want in on our BLuespot fortune....we will give him the runaround, knowing the whole time that we have secretly wanted him in on it from the start. He will join, and we will travel the world promoting Blue Spot awareness!!!! We will call our conglomerate "LMS Hatchery, Inc." Breeders specializing in the breeding, hatching, and raising of the Jewels of the Sea of Cortez.
Whoa!!!!! I have a very big plan and a super active immagination.~Michael

Love the idea. If you could come up with those kind of funds you could actually give it a solid try. First though you have to learn how to tell the males from the females.
Glad everybody is healthy and happy Lorraine.
I thing they will become more and more accustomed to each other over time.

World domination by Blue Spot jawfish! Muhahahahhahahah!

Great pictures Lorraine! I don't think the abrasions on the mouth area is from fighting. Spotty has it too. I think it from digging and moving rocks etc.

Re: Lorraine's Bluespot Heaven

Here are some pics I shot today of GG. Note the blue dot on her top fin in the middle of her back. She is now dominating the tank. She has taken over the primary hole, and any other hole she is in the mood to live in at the moment. Other than the small scrape on her head between the eyes, she is very colorful and looks very healthy. She eats very aggressively among my other fish (including Mr. Palani). She hangs out in plain site all day long, even when I am in the tank cleaning it.

Re: Lorraine's Bluespot Heaven

And, here are some of BB. She has some fraying of her fins, but is still very colorful and eating well. She hangs out in the open a lot as well. The last photo is of her being kicked out of another hole by GG. The Pyle Wrasse also kicked her out of another spot.
